Waterloo Park

With over 111 acres of parkland, Waterloo Park boasts several sports fields, picnic and event areas, a splash pad, the Eby Farmstead and zoo, beautiful Silver Lake and more - making it a favourite destination for visitors of all ages. This jewel of the city is currently undergoing a transformation of its streetscape along Father David Bauer Drive. The development of a series of "green rooms" that front Waterloo Park along this section will be defined by distinct tree species and will house a variety of uses such as a new playground, a picnic area and play space.
